MyFinPal ("the App") is developed by spxandroid. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
All financial data — income, expenses, budgets, goals, debts, savings — is stored locally on your device using AES-encrypted storage. This data is never uploaded to our servers without your explicit consent.
With your permission, MyFinPal reads bank SMS messages to automatically detect financial transactions (income credits, UPI payments, EMI deductions, etc.). This processing happens entirely on your device. SMS content is never transmitted to any server or third party.
With your permission, the camera is used to photograph bills and receipts for expense tracking. Images are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded.
With your permission, contacts are accessed to help you add friends to split expense groups. Contact information is never uploaded or shared with any third party.
We use Google Firebase for the following purposes:

Firebase collects standard app usage metrics. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you enable cloud backup, your financial data is encrypted before transmission and stored in Firebase Storage under your personal account. Only you can access your backup. Cloud backup is disabled by default.
The AI assistant (Pluto) uses Gemini Nano on supported Android devices. Prompts and financial snapshots are processed on-device through Android's AICore service and are not sent to MyFinPal's servers for AI processing.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
